FBR Charity Golf Day 2026: Supporting Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance

Making a difference where it matters most.
When choosing our charity partner, we wanted to support a cause that truly reflects the industries and communities we work within.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance provides a vital service that resonates strongly with many across the construction industry, particularly those working in remote locations, on high-risk sites and in environments where immediate emergency support can make all the difference.
Their impact is also incredibly local. They support the very communities where we live, work and deliver projects every day, providing advanced critical care to people across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight when they need it most.
In 2025, we proudly chose Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance as our Charity of the Year, inspired by their ambitious Operation Airbase appeal. The appeal aimed to raise £3.6 million to fund a new purpose-built airbase near Southampton Airport, helping secure the future of this vital service for years to come.
As the appeal continued into 2026, we made the decision to extend our partnership for another year, allowing us to continue supporting HIOWAA through the final stages of this incredible journey.
We were incredibly proud to see Operation Airbase successfully reach its fundraising target and to see the team move into their new purpose-built airbase, a fantastic achievement made possible through the generosity of supporters, businesses and the local community.
With this milestone now achieved, funds raised through our Charity Golf Day will go directly towards supporting Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance’s ongoing missions, helping their specialist critical care teams continue responding to emergencies across the region.
Unlike NHS ambulance services, the charity relies heavily on the generosity of supporters and businesses to keep this vital service running. It costs around £17,750 every day to maintain their operations, meaning every donation plays an important role in helping them continue to be there when people need them most.

A fantastic day at Bramshaw Golf Club.
On Friday 24th July, we hosted our annual Charity Golf Day at the beautiful Bramshaw Golf Club, bringing together clients, colleagues, suppliers and supporters for a fantastic day of golf, networking and fundraising. The day was filled with great competition, plenty of laughs and, most importantly, incredible generosity from everyone involved.
From hole sponsorships and donations to our raffle, auction and fundraising games throughout the day, every contribution helped us make an even bigger impact. Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone involved, we are delighted to announce that we raised an amazing £4,850 for Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance. That’s £1,500 more than last year, and we’re incredibly proud to see this event continue to grow year after year.

Congratulations to our winners.
Alongside the fundraising and networking, the day also brought some great competition out on the course.
Congratulations to everyone who took part in the day’s challenges, including our Team Competition, Individual Competition, Beat the Pro, Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive challenges.

Highlights from the day.
We’ll be sharing more from the event, including interviews with Tiff and Natalie, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance’s Supporter Engagement Officer, along with plenty of behind-the-scenes footage capturing the highlights and moments that made the day so special.
Throughout the day, we caught up with teams to hear more about the businesses they represent, their involvement in the event and their golfing skills as they took on the course. We also spoke with Natalie about the incredible work carried out by Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance and the difference events like this make in supporting their ongoing work.
We were also joined by our golf pro for the day, Jake, who shared his thoughts on the event, the competition and the challenges teams faced throughout the day. Make sure you follow along with our social channels to see all of the interviews, photos, videos and behind-the-scenes highlights as they’re released.
