Pest Control Technician Required. FBR Construction Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Level 2 Pest Control Technician to join an established pest control business, covering Middlesbrough and the surrounding areas.

This is a van-based position offering a competitive basic salary of circa £29,000, with the opportunity to increase earnings through overtime and commission. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customers across the Middlesbrough area, carrying out inspections, treatments and preventative pest control services.

• Level 2 Pest Control Technician – Van Based.
• Location: Middlesbrough & Surrounding Areas.
• Salary: Circa £29,000 + Overtime + Commission.
• Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.
• Producing and submitting applications for payment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out routine pest control inspections and treatments.
• Identifying and treating a range of pest issues.
• Managing your own diary and customer portfolio.
• Providing customers with professional advice and recommendations.
• Completing service reports and relevant documentation.
• Identifying opportunities for additional pest control services.
• Maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry regulations.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Level 2 / RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management or equivalent.
• Previous experience working as a Pest Control Technician.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Good knowledge of common pest species, treatments and prevention methods.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to manage your own workload and work independently.
