Glazing & Installation Contracts Manager Required. A respected Hampshire based external envelope contractor has secured a number of key projects in the West Country and is now seeking to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager.

The Role:

• You will need to have a strong knowledge of PVCu, timber and aluminium windows and doors, curtain walling and associated commercial glazing works.
• Have the ability to read detailed CAD drawings.
• Manage projects from mobilisation through installation and completion.
• Making sure and ensuring works are planned, resourced and delivered effectively.
• Coordinate installation teams and labour requirements.
• Programming of works.
• Oversee health & safety requirements and site procedures.
• Keeping on top of quality and snagging activities.
• Provide practical and commercial input to site and project issues.
• Lead and support installation teams of up to staff 4-6 live projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication with the client and all end users to resolve possible issues and maintain progress.
• Keeping projects within specified budgets and build programs.
• Chair weekly progress meetings with full reporting procedures.
