Job Description
Groundworker CSCS Required. FBR Recruitment is currently recruiting for experienced Groundworkers and Dumper Operators to join a large-scale Water Treatment Works (WTW) project in West Sussex. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure long-term work on a major civil engineering and utilities infrastructure scheme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out general groundworks including drainage, ducting, and pipe laying.
- Operating forward tipping dumpers safely and efficiently across site.
- Assisting with excavation works, trench support, and backfilling.
- Installation of utilities, including water and wastewater pipelines.
- Working around live services and within confined or restricted areas.
- Supporting plant operators and site teams with day-to-day operations.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
- Adhering to strict health & safety procedures at all times.
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Card (Groundworkers).
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Dumper Ticket (Dumper Operators).
- Previous experience on civil engineering, utilities, or water treatment works projects.
- Strong understanding of site health & safety and safe systems of work.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Full PPE required.
Desirable:
- Confined Space Certification.
- Experience in Water Treatment Works (WTW) or Sewage Treatment Works (STW).
- Knowledge of drainage systems and pipeline installation.
- Additional plant tickets or groundwork-related qualifications.
Project Details:
- Large-scale Water Treatment Works project.
- Long-term contract (18 months).
