Job Description
Electrician Required. We are currently seeking 1 experienced Electrician for a long-term 4-year project based in Canary Wharf. This role is working on a Data Centre project at the 1st fix stage, so previous Data Centre experience is highly preferred.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Electrician looking for consistent, long-term work on a major infrastructure project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out 1st fix electrical installations.
- Containment work (tray, basket, conduit, trunking).
- Cable pulling and routing.
- Working to site drawings and specifications.
- Adhering to site health & safety procedures at all times.
Requirements:
- Valid JIB / CSCS Card.
- IPAF ticket (required).
- Proven experience at 1st fix stage.
- Previous Data Centre experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of commercial electrical installations.
- Duration: 9 months to 1 year.
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:30pm.
- Additional hours available. Weekend work becoming available soon at x1.33 uplift.
- Rate: £28–£29 per hour (onsite paid).
- We will propose a rate based on the above for confirmation as soon as possible. Please feel free to speak with us to ensure expectations align.
- Travel & Parking: There is no free parking onsite or nearby. The best way to travel to site is via tube/public transport.
