Assistant/Intermediate Quantity Surveyor Required. A respected regional building contractor with a rich pedigree of delivering hi-tech new build projects across central and southern England have identified a need for either an Assistant or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor.

Their portfolio includes work within commercial builds, car showrooms, retail, pharmaceutical and care homes, projects generally range in value from £1 million to £5 million.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Preparing Tender and Contract documents.
• Preparing Bills of Quantities.
• Risk Management and Cost Control.
• Sub Contractor Work Allocation.
• Preparing Accurate Progress Reports.
• Completed Work Valuations and Payments.

Key Experience and Requirements:

• Ideally 3+ Years Quantity Surveying experience.
• You will have experience of previously working within the same or similar role.
• Degree qualified (or moving towards professional membership) is preferable but not essential.
• Traditional new build and Design & Build exposure would be beneficial.
• Excellent communication/ team work capability.
• Computer literacy will also be essential.
• The role will be reporting to the commercial director.
