After completing his HND in Business Studies at Bournemouth College, Mark started his construction career at SGB, supplying non-mechanical plant for over 5 years. After a change in direction, Mark launched into recruitment with Anders Glaser Wills, where he stayed for over 10 years. There he set up their trades and labour division, later moving on to sectors which included architecture, consulting engineering and facilities management. Mark was eventually promoted to team leader, managing a team of 10 consultants. Successful stints subsequently followed at Fusion People, Daniel Owen and Judd Farris, where he was promoted to Associate Director. With this solid recruitment experience behind him, the opportunity to set up FBR Construction Recruitment has offered him an exciting challenge where he is keen to really make a difference.
Mark has over 25 years’ recruitment exposure in the construction built environment and specialises in bespoke recruitment solutions for permanent and temporary roles, right across the south of England. His provides a personal, honest and dedicated recruitment service, from which both clients and candidates benefit. Client sectors include traditional new builds, D&B, refurbishments, renovations, shopfitting and interiors, civil engineering and groundworks.
Mark prides himself in a number of long-term, highly valued relationships with retained clients covering all construction sectors. Spanning both small and medium enterprises, many of those relationships go back over 15 years. He also has a number of retained candidates looking to explore new career opportunities. Such candidates have previously been placed, interviewed and reference checked, so are ready to hit the ground running.
