Job Description
General Labourer Required. Our client is seeking experienced General Labourer for a temporary contract on a project in Portsmouth. This vacancy is being advertised by a recruitment agency acting on behalf of the employer. Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting skilled tradespeople (e.g. concrete repair teams, painters, steel fixers).
- General site labouring duties including lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
- Keeping the site clean, tidy, and hazard-free.
- Assisting with surface preparation, including breaking out, cleaning, and prepping areas.
- Following all health & safety regulations at all times.
- Operating basic tools and equipment as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in construction or labouring preferred.
- Valid CSCS card (essential).
- Good level of physical fitness.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Awareness of site safety practices.
