Job Description
Accounts Administrator required. FBR Construction Recruitment is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our growing team in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator with accounts experience to play a key role in supporting the finance function and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of financial processes.
The successful candidate will work closely with the finance team, handling a variety of accounting and administrative duties while maintaining accurate records and delivering excellent internal support.
Role Description:
- Description: Accounts Administrator – Liverpool.
- Location: Liverpool.
- Position Type: Full-Time.
- Sector: Construction / MEP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing purchase invoices and matching them against purchase orders.
- Raising sales invoices and maintaining accurate customer records.
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queries.
- Assisting with bank reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Processing employee expenses and timesheets.
- Maintaining accurate financial and administrative records.
- Supporting month-end and year-end accounting processes.
- Handling incoming calls, emails, and general office administration duties.
- Assisting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc administrative and accounting tasks.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Administrator, Finance Administrator, or similar role.
- Good understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience using accounting software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- AAT qualification or studying towards AAT would be advantageous but not essential.
