Electrical Project Manager required. FBR Construction Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Commercial Electrical Project Manager to join a leading MEP contractor on a prestigious office development in the heart of London, based in Trafalgar Square.

The successful candidate will join the project during the pre-construction phase, taking responsibility for the electrical package from initial planning through to successful completion. The initial project is expected to run for approximately 42 weeks, with a strong pipeline of secured work commencing next year, providing the opportunity to move directly onto future London projects.

Role Description:

• Location: Trafalgar Square, London.
• Project: 5-Storey Commercial Office Development.
• Duration: Initial 42-week project with long-term opportunities beyond.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the electrical package from pre-construction through to handover.
• Coordinate design development, procurement and programme delivery.
• Manage subcontractors, supervisors and site teams to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
• Attend client, design and coordination meetings.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management and the client.
• Ensure all electrical works are delivered to the highest standards of health & safety, quality and compliance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager delivering commercial MEP projects.
• Strong background working on office developments or similar commercial schemes.
• Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.
• Valid SMSTS certificate (essential).
