Job Description
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a medium size developer, who has an excellent reputation in the market today. They specialise in new build housing, consisting between private housing, HA and flats, which are all traditional build. They have as great culture and family feel to the business, who always wants to support and promote within. With new sites happening across 2023/2024 this is an exciting time to join the business. They are now seeking a quantity surveyor to join the team on a permanent basis, being based at head office within Hampshire.
You will be employed as a permanent quantity surveyor, based at head office, working 5 days a week. The salary will be between £55-£65k p/a + package DOE. Your day to day responsibilities may include but not restricted to: CVR’s, cost reports, budgets, estimating, chairing meetings, discussions with local authorities and clients and general day to day site visits when required. You will be reporting in to the construction director.
You must be proactive, experienced within surveying, with at least 3-5 years’ experience. Knowledge and background within housing desirable but not essential. You must have a qualification or degree equivalent within surveying to be considered for this role. They are looking for somebody who can hit the ground running, who is organised, has strong communication skills, IT literate and somebody who can adapt to a fast paced environment. They want somebody who is a team player and willing to help others around them to fit in to their family feel culture.
