Job Description
Mechanical Engineer Required. FBR Construction Recruitment are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join the team of a Mechanical and Electrical design and build contractor based in Surrey. Having been established for 20 years and built up a reputation of reliability, quality and trust with their clients, they operate mainly in the south of the country in most sectors of the industry.
For this permanent position, the ideal engineer will be based close to West Byfleet and be in possession of a current clean driving license. They will be self motivated and able to interact with both clients, suppliers and sub contractors.
Requirements:
- Ideally qualified to ONC/HNC level in building services.
- Have at least 5 years post qualification experience.
- Experienced in surveying, design, estimating and the management of projects.
- Confidently able to take ownership of projects from inception to hand over.
- Provide post contract client support where required.
- Must have the ability to provide technically sound design solutions.
- Have a good understanding of relevant legislation, including CDM.
- Have experience preparing for and delivering projects.
- Have the ability to use design software.
- Be confident working with minimal supervision.
- Be able to support other team members.
