Electrical Estimator required. FBR Construction Recruitment is currently recruiting for two experienced and motivated Electrical Estimators on behalf of our client, who is looking to strengthen their growing team. The successful candidates will play a key role in producing accurate, competitive tenders across a range of commercial and industrial electrical projects while working closely with the operational teams to support the continued growth of the business.

Role information:

• Position: Electrical Estimator.
• Location: Gatwick.
• Employment: Full-time, Permanent.
• Start Date: Immediate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed electrical estimates and tender submissions.
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
• Carry out quantity take-offs and cost analysis.
• Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Identify value engineering opportunities where appropriate.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and suppliers throughout the tender process.
• Support project handovers to the delivery teams.
• Produce RAMS for project handover.
• Maintain accurate estimating records and tender documentation.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator.
• Strong understanding of commercial electrical installations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Experience using estimating software is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
