Mechanical Estimator required. FBR Construction Recruitment is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Estimator to join our client’s established but growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ estimating experience within the M&E industry, with a strong mechanical bias. However, we also welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate the right skills, attitude, and willingness to develop, as this experience is preferred rather than essential.

Role information:

• Position: Mechanical Estimator.
• Location: Southampton.
• Employment: Full-time, Permanent.
• Start Date: August.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing accurate take-offs from drawings and specifications.
• Producing competitive tender pricing and cost estimates.
• Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Job costing and cost analysis.
• Liaising with clients, suppliers, and the wider project team throughout the tender process.
