Job Description
Site Manager Required. I am currently recruiting on behalf of a structural steel contractor who are based near Whiteley, Fareham. They have a fantastic reputation and are currently starting new projects across 2025/2026. Although they are based in Whiteley, they cover projects across the South, London and home counties areas so being able to travel across these areas is essential to the role.
You will be employed as a site manager on a permanent basis working Monday to Friday. The role is to start in July 2025 and the salary range on offer is between £35,000-£50,000 p/a + van and fuel card DOE.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Managing Trades.
- Managing Programmes.
- Managing budgets.
- Ensure all compliance is done.
- Ensure Health & Safety is maintained at all times.
- Carry out issue amendments to method statements.
- Liaise with client teams to provide updates.
- Look for and resolve issues within programme.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Attend project meetings.
- Build excellent working relationships both on site and with the Hillcrest teams.
Requirements:
You must have experience within the structural steel sector in construction. You must be adaptable, able to work to a fast pace, and demonstrate strong communication skills. Ideally qualifications such as SMSTS, First Aid and any other relevant construction qualifications will be needed to be considered for this role. They are looking for an individual who does not mind travelling, who is confident with clients, and who maintains a professional presence throughout.
