Job Description
Site Manager Required. I am currently recruiting on behalf of a 5-star national house builder who build across the South Coast, mainly Hampshire, Dorset and West Sussex areas. They have a great land bank meaning stability and have a few new sites scheduled for across 2024 and 2025. They have a growing reputation in the market and are now seeking an experienced site manager to join the team on a permanent basis. They are based within Hampshire, and this particular site is located near the Fareham region, Hampshire. This will be on an existing site, and is to start asap ideally beginning of September 2024. They are looking for a site manager to do all the HA plots on this site.
You will be employed as a site manager on a permanent basis. This will be working on an existing site near Fareham, the build being timber frame build both private and HA. The salary range on offer is between £65,000-£70,000 p/a + package + bonus DOE.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Managing trades.
- Managing programmes.
- Working closely with an assistant.
- Ensuring everything is to budget.
- Chairing internal and external meetings.
- Completions and CML’s.
- Snagging.
- Toolbox/induction talks.
- Ensuring the health and safety is of high priority across the site.
Requirements:
You must have a proven record of working successfully on large volume sites with other house developers. They are looking for somebody with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, who is a strong leader, good communication skills and IT proficient. You must have SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid all in date to be considered for this role. You must be proactive, hardworking, a problem solver and somebody who is out on site pushing it along. They want somebody who takes pride in what they build and who wants a long term career of progression.
This is to start asap so ideally September 2024 as expecting a notice period. This could be an excellent change to start something new, showcasing what you can build.
