Job Description

Maintenance Plumber Required. Planned Maintenance – Plumber/Pipefitter Required. Static Site – Central London (Near Tottenham Court Road / Oxford Street)

Key Details:
  • Start: ASAP.
  • Location: Near Tottenham Court Road / Oxford Street.
  • Duration: Long-term, with the potential to go permanent.
  • Hours: Based on 8 hours/day.
  • Pay Structure: £50,000/year (based on standard hours).
  • Overtime: Weekdays beyond 8 hours at x1.5. Weekends, bank holidays, and night shifts at double time.
  • Payment Flexibility: Initially CIS/self-employed.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Routine Maintenance & Servicing.
  • Inspect, test, and service commercial plumbing and heating systems (e.g., pumps, valves, calorifiers, pipework, etc).
  • Carry out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) schedules.
  • Repairs & Fault Finding.
  • Diagnose issues in pipework and plumbing systems.
  • Perform repairs on leaks, blockages, and faulty components.
  • Replace worn or defective parts.
  • Installation & Modifications.
  • Minor installations or modifications to existing systems.
  • Work with copper, steel, and plastic pipe systems using soldered, threaded, crimped, or press-fit methods.
  • Compliance & Safety.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with current building regulations and health & safety standards.
  • Complete risk assessments and method statements as needed.
  • Client Interaction.
  • Represent the company professionally on-site.
  • Liaise with clients or site contacts to report issues or suggest improvements.
  • Documentation.
  • Keep accurate records of completed work, materials used, and time on site.
  • Use job management systems (paper-based or digital).
