Job Description

My client is looking for a self-driven, conscientious Lettings Administrator to join a small team in their busy student and residential letting agency in Southampton.

Job Role

  • Deal with landlord and tenant enquiries received in person, by phone or by email
  • Carry out all Administration during the moving process
  • Liaise closely with contractors, arranging property maintenance and managing health and safety compliance
  • Take applications, complete tenant referencing, create tenancies and supporting documents for tenants to sign
  • Manage scheduling for flexible-working office team
  • Deal with property issues that may arise
  • Key signing in and out and key tracking
  • Stock-keep and ordering office supplies and property items
  • Update the company’s various social media platforms regularly
  • General lettings administration including uploading documents to the system
  • Help other members of the team with day-to-day duties

The ideal candidate

  • Experience in administration (preferred)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office packages, specifically Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Ability to multitask and handle the pressure of a busy day
  • Professional writing manner
  • Methodical, organised and reliable
  • Self-motivated with excellent time-management skills
  • Excellent communication skills including professional telephone manner


£22,000 basic salary

37.5 hours a week – Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
