Job Description

Group Financial & Commercial Administrator – Basingstoke- Immediate Start

FBR are currently recruiting for a Financial & Commercial Administrator to join a family business with over 60 years’ experience working on some of the finest properties in the South of England.

You will be based at their head office which is easily accessible from Basingstoke, situated in the charming village of Sherborne St John, only a stone’s throw from the town centre and plentiful nearby amenities. Their modern office is home to their busy Group Business Support team, who benefit from free secure car parking and bright, comfortable workspaces. You will form part of a close-knit team supporting our offices and sites across all divisions in the business.

Experience required

  • Previous administration experience
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Experience of diary management
  • Experience of attending meetings and taking minutes



  • Compliance experience
  • Construction experience



Package details

  • Salary: £25,000 – £26,000
  • Holiday entitlement: 22 days plus bank holidays
  • Workplace pension


Working hours

  • Working hours: 38.5 hours per week, 08:30-17:30 Mon-Thurs, 08:30-16:00 Fri


Place of work

  • Basingstoke – occasional travel required to sites and other divisional offices (must be able to drive and have own transport)



Geographical location of candidates

  • Up to 40 minutes from Basingstoke
