Job Description



As the Creative Director, you will be the leader and role model for the creative and design teams across the Group portfolio. You will blend highly strategic understanding and cross channel ideation, visual direction, detail orientated execution, leadership, project ownership and hands-on creation.

As a leader and creative mind, you’ll be expected to collaborate closely with the Group Exec, Senior Leadership Team, bringing exceptional creative ideas to life with the wider team. You will be a natural at thinking big, pushing craft, and innovating with technology to ensure our work is delivered to the highest standard.

We expect our Creative Director to direct the project / team by cutting through complexity, identifying opportunities for growth, and helping others seize them. You will understand what good looks like and push the work to uphold and improve our standards. You will play a pivotal role in advocating for our clients, our business(es), our teams and our people.


The successful candidate will be someone who will integrate well into the company’s already established team, can motivate and inspire people and who wants to forge a long lasting, successful and rewarding career within our company.


The successful candidate will need to be able to initiate and undertake the following aspects of the business. These responsibilities are not exhaustive, and we expect the candidate to use their initiative and bring new ideas to the table for discussion.

  • Understanding our client’s business to ensure our work answers the brief
  • Leading the creative & design elements on pitches
  • Understanding what good looks like, and holding the team to account and supporting them to achieve our high standards
  • Establishing strong relationships with senior clients to encourage business growth
  • Having a good understanding of the commercial health of the business
  • Encouraging good commercial habits within the creative and design teams
  • Mentoring all members of the creative and design teams across the Group
  • Working alongside HR to lead the recruitment of creative and design team to maintain our competitive edge
  • Managing both the creative (graphics) and design team (conceptual; technical and visualisers).
  • Creation of monthly/ quarterly Board Pack information which will in turn be professionally presented at Board level when required.
  • Set measurable KPIs and review performance to get the best out of the individual and team We expect the above measurables to raise our profile and promote our business with proven results.


The successful candidate will be:

  • Able to demonstrate versatility and ability to work and lead a team across a range of touchpoints be it print, digital, online or physical spaces
  • Able to analyse information, ask probing questions and have a passion for finding solutions for all our clients from multiple industries
  • Ambitious for themselves, the team, client and company and place pride on delivering outstanding results persevering through difficult challenges
  • Excel in working with other teams throughout the Group, as well as architects, engineers, suppliers, contractors and approved installers on all design and technical issues
  • Lead from within – take control of workload, empowering and motivating others to take ownership in delivering the best work they are capable of
  • Able to help direct the business to improve productivity and performance
  • A strong strategic and creative thinker
  • Experience in managing a high volume of pitches in parallel
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills


  • A proven track record of running and managing a team of people ideally in a creative / design environment
  • Must have at least 10 years+ experience with an agency and or media industry/design
  • To preferably be Degree or HND educated
