Job Description
Assistant Site Manager Required. I am currently recruiting on behalf of a 5-star national house builder who build across the South Coast, mainly Hampshire, Dorset, West Sussex and Surrey areas. They have a great land bank meaning stability and have a few new sites scheduled for across 2024 and 2025. They have an exceptional reputation in the market and are now seeking an experienced assistant site manager to join the team on a permanent basis. They are based within Surrey, and this particular site is located near the Winchester region, Hampshire. This will be on an existing site, but a new phase, and is to start ideally around October 2024.
You will be employed as an assistant site manager on a permanent basis. This will be working on an existing site near Winchester, the build being traditional build, both private and HA. The salary range on offer is between £45,000-£55,000 p/a + package + bonus DOE.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Managing trades.
- Assisting the site manager.
- Chairing internal and external meetings.
- Checking weekly programmes on track.
- Maintain high levels of health and safety.
- Checking works.
- Snagging.
- Customer care.
- New home demos.
- General day to day running on site.
Requirements:
You must have a proven record of working successfully on large volume sites with other house developers. They are looking for somebody with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, who is a strong leader, good communication skills and IT proficient. You must have SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid all in date to be considered for this role. You must be proactive, hardworking, a problem solver and somebody who is out on site pushing it along. They want somebody who takes pride in what they build and who wants a long term career of progression.
This is to start ideally October 2024 as expecting a notice period. This could be an excellent change to start something new, showcasing what you can build.
