Job Description

One of build contractor clients who build mainly new build commercial and leisure projects based near Southampton. Due to their expansion they have decided to take on an additional full time Accounts Assistant / Administrator to work within their friendly operations team.
The role is to support the general office team and the various site teams around the south east.

Typical duties include:

  • Process sub contractor payments to the value of around £250,000.
  • Checking sub-contractor invoices and data entry for sub-contractor payments.
  • Maintaining and collating working drawings and printing on A3 paper ready for the installers on site.
  • Preparing and issuing sub-contractor order documentation, raising new orders, monitoring and chasing the return of executed documents.
  • Creating and maintaining sub-contractor records relevant insurance details and policy documents for each project.
  • Organising internal/external meetings and diaries for operational staff.
  • Ordering plant and machinery on sites and off-hiring when required.
  • Type out quotations, have approved and then file.
  • Check incoming invoices and check against original orders and enter value of orders into costings spreadsheet.
